Loboc River Cruise | Things To Do On Bohol Island

When I visited the Philippines and went to Bohol – Panglao Island and Cebu, I went on a Bohol Island tour where I did a number of things. One of them was this Loboc River Cruise and I just had to share it with you because it is something I would recommend doing. The company is called Busai Monark Floating Resto and you can find their details below.

I really enjoyed this short river cruise on the Loboc river, the emerald river was so beautiful. This river boat tour costs around 550 pesos. I went on this as part of day tour so I only had to pay 100 pesos at the entrance.

The cruise included a buffet lunch with lots of different meats, fruit and vegetables and there is also live music on the cruise. You will also make a stop where some locals sing and dance as part of a cultural experience.

How To Get To The Loboc River Cruise

  1. You can visit the Bohol Island Tourism Office at : Governor Mansion, CPG St North Ave, Tagbilaran City, 6300 Cebu, Philippines. Where you can book tours that include the river cruise. They will provide the transport for the tour so you do not have to worry about how to get there. This is what I did.
  2. You can get there via the Tagbilaran City Dao Integrated Bus Terminal. It will takes around one hour travel by public transportation from the city and around 40 minutes travel by private transportation. Loboc town is located approximately 24 kilometers from Tagbilaran City.

Normally your hotel or hostel will provide a reliable transport number or service you can use to get to attractions that are far from you . Your accommodation will also have links or contacts to tour that you can choose from .

I would personally recommend this cruise to those visiting the area as part of a day tour package.

You can check out the official website of the tourism office of Bohol HERE.
